Notes: I'll be taking into account weapons and abilities from Smash Bros and the Animal Crossing games. Some of my interpretation of The Villager's abilities may be stretching it.
Background
terror on the battlefield
Abilities:
Strength :
Surprisingly, The Villager is amazingly strong, they can chop an oak tree in two/three swings. Though without knowing the properties of the axe, I'm unable to get an estimate of how impressive this actually is.What is much easier to records is how much the Villager can lift. The average whale shark weighs roughly 19,000 kilograms and the Villager is able to hold one with a single hand. Meaning this is nowhere near their limit.
Durability:
The Villager is abnormally strong but still no harder to harm than most. They are affected by illness, fatigue, bee stings and bad luck. They are still human and can be killed by many normal human means. He also doesn't wear any real armor as his mayoral duties don't require it.
Skills/Powers:
The Villager lack any real combat training or skill. They're a simply mayor, they have no need for such violent tactics. As such, their fighting style is unorthodox, relying on various tools and turnips to fight.
Deep Pockets:
The Villagers pockets are possibly their most versatile power. These pockets are able to store entire couches, sharks, tools, dinosaur bones and even energy based attacks without any effect on the Villager's movement. As such, his pockets work like a "pocket" dimension.
The Villager's pockets don't have an established size limit, they do however have a quantity limit.
He can only carry a finite amount of items before his pockets are full. But just to show how deep they go, let's get a rough estimate of how much we know they can hold.
One of the heaviest things the Villager can put in his pocket is a Whale shark, he can put as many as 16 sharks in his pockets. As said before, the average whale shark weighs approximately 19,000 kilograms. Meaning the Villager's pockets at the very least can hold 304 tonnes.

Luck:
The Villager's luck can either be a blessing or a curse. It can cause hostiles such as bee to move slower or faster, giving him the advantage in speed. However, luck can also backfire. On a bad day, it can cause him to trip relentlessly.
Tools:
Most of the Villager weapons aren't primary weapons. Much of the Villagers arsenal is just everyday tools that have been utilized for combat
The Axe:
Golden Axe:
The Villager's most powerful axe. Unlike the standard. this one is unbreakable.
The Net:
Originally used to catch bugs, now used to catch foes. The net is used as a way to grab and throw enemies.
Golden Net:
Has a longer range than the standard net
The Shovel:
The shovel is used in combination with pitfall seed to set up holes for opponents to fall into. It can also be used hit foes directly.
Golden Shovel:
Like the Normal Shovel but can cause crystals to appear out of rocks.
Slingshot:
The Slingshot is fairly simple, It's used to shoot pellets.
Golden Slingshot:
Unlike the standard, this one can shoot 3 pellets at a time.

Watering Can:
The Villager's Watering Can was originally used to stop flowers from wilting, now it's used to grow trees instantly. Whether it's the seed or the water itself is unclear,
Golden Can:
The Golden Can is able to grow several trees at once.
Fishing Rod:
The Rod has no special utility and has literally never been used for combat. That being said, it's a great rod and attracts fish without bait.
Golden Rod
Heh.....The Golden rod is even more attractive to fish and that's it.
Lloid Rocket
The Villager uses a gyroid as a form of horizontal/vertical transport and an effective projectile/explosive.
Umbrella:
Used to keep dry on a rainy day and as a simple weapon.
Fireworks:
The fireworks are used to attack airborne enemies and celebrate the new year.
Turnips:
The Villager uses several turnips as a weapon. He just whacks people with them.
Balloons:
The Villager can use balloons to as a method of flight. The balloons are incredibly fragile and will pop with the slightest touch or on their own fairly quickly.
Boxing gloves
Standard boxing gloves used for punching.
Standard boxing gloves used for punching.
Feats:
Becoming Mayor in a Day
Lifting sharks with ease.
Growing Trees instantly
Chopping same trees down in two swings.
Watered 9 flowers at once.
Even when disappearing for months he is able to stay Mayor.
Conclusion:
The Villager is a menace to all opponents. His can lift over 20 tonnes, Is able to used to the power of luck to slow down opponents, can put almost any projectile in his pocket and has a tool for any job. But he's also a glass cannon. Creatures such Bee's can pierce his skin and he's still only human. That being said, you'd rather go fishing with the Villager than face his axe.
